Cosmetic Dentistry

Are you unhappy with the appearance of your teeth? Our cosmetic dentistry procedures can improve the appearance of your teeth to bring confidence back to your smile. Cosmetic dentistry can correct issues such as cracks, stains, chips, gaps, as well as, crooked, misshaped, or broken teeth.

Whitening

Our teeth are easily stained by dark food and drinks, such as blueberries, tea, wine and coffee. Whitening is one of the most common cosmetic procedures that our clients inquire about. Teeth stains usually appear on the enamel layer of your teeth which cause a yellow appearance. You may be able to regain your dental whiteness with one of our at-home teeth whitening kits. These treatments are effective, safe and easy to use. Once a routine examination of your teeth is completed and suitability is determined, we make an appointment to take an impression of your teeth. In a few days you return for your kit delivery and detailed instructions by one of our staff.

Dental Bonding

Cosmetic dental bonding is another example of a simple cosmetic dentistry procedure. This procedure corrects chipped, decayed, broken, or uneven teeth. Dental bonding uses resin material that is used for white fillings to restore chips, cracks, and gaps. Your tooth is kept completely dry during the treatment and the surface is roughened to bond it and the resin. Your dentist molds the resin with specialized tools to create a beautiful appearance. The resin then hardens under a special light and is polished to a high shine.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers can solve smile imperfections that cannot be corrected with dental bonding or teeth whitening. The veneers can correct a crooked smile and provide long lasting teeth whiteness. Before the procedure, your dentist will go over your oral health history and determine if your teeth are healthy enough for veneers. Then your teeth will be prepared by removing small parts of enamel on your teeth to make room for the porcelain veneers. You dentist will then take impressions of your prepared teeth so that porcelain veneers can be made for you. Before you leave that appointment, the dentist will make you temporary veneers that will be in place until the permanent veneers are completed by a dental laboratory. The permanent veneers are cemented permanently into place at the next appointment which usually takes place two weeks later.

Cosmetic dentistry procedures can give you the confidence back in your smile and allow you to share it with the world. You deserve to have a smile that you are happy to share.
